BELGRADE - Discussions between an International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission and a delegation of the Republic of Serbia were completed on Tuesday, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a statement, noting that "macroeconomic outturns under the programme remain strong, with growth recovering, a solid fiscal position, ongoing disinflation, record-high FX reserves and a strong labour market."

"All quantitative targets for end-2023 have been met, and the structural reforms programme is progressing well," the delegations agreed.

The discussions were held as part of the third review of the results under the agreed economic programme within a stand-by arrangement concluded in December 2022.

"In a series of meetings, the delegations discussed macroeconomic movements, economic prospects and risks, and key issues in relation to programme realisation," the central bank said.
