BELGRADE - Ukraine's Ambassador to Serbia Oleksandr Aleksandrovych on Wednesday denied claims that his country had deployed S-300 missile systems in Croatia, describing as "interesting" a recent statement about this by Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin.

"I found it interesting to read about the Russian ambassador's attempts to dismiss accusations against Russia about deployments of S-300 missile systems in Croatia in 1995, in violation of a UN embargo. The author of the statement is blaming Ukraine, citing such serious sources as the Internet and Wikileaks," Aleksandrovych said in a press statement.
