Brnabic concerned over treatment of Serbs convicted by ICTY

Meeting with Serge Brammertz, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Thursday expressed concern over the treatment of Serbs convicted by the ICTY, urging greater transparency regarding medical documentation.

BELGRADE - Meeting with Serge Brammertz, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Thursday expressed concern over the treatment of Serbs convicted by the ICTY, urging greater transparency regarding medical documentation.

Serbia is committed to societal reform and regional reconciliation and it will continue the cooperation aimed at prosecuting war crimes, but it believes the ICTY has not contributed to reconciliation among countries in the region and to objective prosecution of war crimes irrespective of nationality, a statement from the government press office quoted Brnabic as saying.
