LEBANE - A LebanTeks yarn factory, which will hire around 350 textile workers, opened in Lebane, southern Serbia, on Thursday.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and representatives of the Turkish Ormo Group ceremonially cut the ribbon, with Serbian Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic and Minister of Trade, Telecommunications and Tourism Rasim Ljajic also in attendance.

Foreign investments in 2017 to exceed 2.3 bln euros

LEBANE - Serbia will end the year with foreign investments totalling 2.35-2.40 bln euros without any major privatisation revenues, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Lebane, a town in southern Serbia, on Thursday.

The figure is six times higher than what Croatia, an EU member state, has achieved, Vucic said.
