Gojkovic: Serbia committed to sustainable development goals

Serbia is committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the UN General Assembly, and it is the duty of its parliament and government to continue to work on implementation of those goals, Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic said Thursday.

BELGRADE - Serbia is committed to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the UN General Assembly, and it is the duty of its parliament and government to continue to work on implementation of those goals, Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic said Thursday.


Opening a regional parliamentary seminar on sustainable development goals, held in the Serbian parliament, Gojkovic said poverty reduction, ensuring healthy living conditions and infrastructure construction occupied a prominent position among those goals and were aimed at boosting local economies.
