Serbia to send aid to Japan for post-flood recovery

Reiterating regret over the loss of nearly 200 lives and the huge material damage in the floods that have hit Japan, the Serbian government decided on Thursday to extend one-off aid of 500,000 euros to the country.

BELGRADE - Reiterating regret over the loss of nearly 200 lives and the huge material damage in the floods that have hit Japan, the Serbian government decided on Thursday to extend one-off aid of 500,000 euros to the country.


Considering the aid Japan provided to Serbia in the wake of the 2014 floods - when the Government of Japan set aside 5 mln euros and the country's citizens sent over 2 mln euros - as well as various donations that followed,,,
