Vucic: Xi to visit Serbia again

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Beijing Tuesday Chinese President Xi Jinping had accepted an invitation to visit Serbia again.

BEIJING - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Beijing Tuesday Chinese President Xi Jinping had accepted an invitation to visit Serbia again.


"I did what I had promised to do. I had invited President Xi twice and after the third time, he ordered the FM to prepare a visit, which means that he will come," Vucic said after a conversation with Xi.


Vucic: Serbian, Chinese teams working on acquisition of UAVs

BEIJING - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday he had discussed acquisition of Chinese unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with Chinese President Xi Jinping and that Serbian citizens could rest assured that, slowly but surely, their country was becoming stronger.

In a statement to Pink TV, he said Xi had spoken openly about bilateral military technical cooperation, but that teams from the two countries would work on this further.


Vucic: Future of Bor safe for next 50 years

BEIJING - The significance of Chinese investments is definitely best understood by employees of the Smederevo steel mill as well as in Bor and Majdanpek, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Beijing Tuesday.

He said a Chinese investment into the Bor mining and smelting complex was what made the future, growth and development of eastern Serbia safe for the next 50 years.
