BELGRADE - US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott on Tuesday extended condolences to the families of those killed in the 1990s wars and the 1999 NATO bombing, adding that a "stray NATO bomb tragically took the lives of three innocent patients" in Belgrade's Dragisa Misovic Hospital.

"In the wars of the 1990s, tens of thousands of innocent civilians lost their lives in the mindless violence of war and on this occasion I want to extend condolences to the families of those killed in the wars of the 1990s, including those who perished in the NATO air attacks," Scott said after laying a wreath in the Rosalie Morton Park as part of Days of Freedom, an event marking the anniversaries of the liberation of Belgrade in WWI and WWII.
