BELGRADE - Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin said Thursday the high level of political cooperation between the two countries was unprecedented and that Moscow was advocating a political solution to the Kosovo issue in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue without any artificial timeframes imposed.

"A resolution to the Kosovo problem is only possible on condition that it is accepted by Serbia and the Serbs. It is important that it is compromise, and not a solution imposed externally. That is what our position was in the past, that is what it remains now, and it will be the same in the future," Chepurin told the RTS.
