Poor start to trading week at BELEX

Both Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indexes dropped and activity in the shares market was very modest at the start of the trading week on Monday.

BELGRADE - Both Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indexes dropped and activity in the shares market was very modest at the start of the trading week on Monday.


The total trading volume was 9.4 mln dinars (79 thousand euros).


The BELEX15 index dropped 1.3 pct to 693.4 points and BELEXline slid 0.6 pct to 1,509.7 points.


Naftna industrija Srbije shares saw the highest trading volume - 7.2 bln dinars (1 euro = 118 dinars) at an average price of 685 dinars per share, which was 0.1 pct lower compared to Friday.


Nikola Tesla Airport was the top loser of the day, dropping 7.7 pct to 1,104 dinars, with a trading volume of 1.2 mln dinars.


Lasta was the gainer of the day, soaring 10 pct to 440 dinars, with a trading volume of nearly 0.1 mln dinars.
