Dinar to remain steady against euro, rate RSD 118.3975

The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro on Wednesday, with the official median exchange rate to be 118.3975 dinars, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro on Wednesday, with the official median exchange rate to be 118.3975 dinars, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.


The dinar will drop 0.1 pct against the euro compared to a month ago, remaining steady y-o-y and declining 0.2 pct since the beginning of the year.


The indicative exchange rate against the dollar dropped 0.2 pct Tuesday to 103.3498 dinars.


The dinar grew 0.8 pct against the dollar m-o-m, declined 6.6 pct y-o-y and was stagnant relative to the beginning of the year.


The NBS has sold 45 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of 2019 to curb excessive daily exchange rate fluctuations.
