BELEX indexes in green but trading subdued

Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indexes closed in green territory on Monday despite the fact that no stocks were anywhere near a seven-figure volume of trading.

BELGRADE - Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indexes closed in green territory on Monday despite the fact that no stocks were anywhere near a seven-figure volume of trading.


The overall trading volume was 2.6 mln dinars (22.5 thousand euros).


BELEX15, the index of the most liquid shares, rose 0.1 pct to 699.87 points, with BELEXline practically steady at 1,518.27 points.


Messer Tehnogas saw the highest trading volume - slightly below 0.4 mln dinars - at a steady share price of 11,000 dinars (1 euro = 118 dinars).


Dunav osiguranje was the gainer of the day with a 2.5 pct price rise to 1,282 dinars but registered a negligible volume.


Komercijalna banka priority shares were the loser of the day with a 5.6 pct decline to 600 dinars and a scant trading volume, while the bank's ordinary shares rose nearly 1 pct to 2,207 dinars, registering a small volume.
