NBS intervenes, Tuesday's euro rate RSD 118.4071

The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro on Tuesday after the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) intervened by selling 15 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market, making the official median exchange rate 118.4071 dinars, the NBS has announced in a statement.

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro on Tuesday after the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) intervened by selling 15 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market, making the official median exchange rate 118.4071 dinars, the NBS has announced in a statement.


The dinar will drop 0.1 pct against the euro compared to a month ago, rising 0.1 pct y-o-y and declining 0.2 pct since the beginning of the year.


The NBS has sold 60 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of 2019 to curb excessive daily exchange rate fluctuations.


The indicative exchange rate against the dollar dropped 0.2 pct to 104.1857 dinars on Monday.


The dinar dropped 0.9 pct against the dollar m-o-m, declining 7.0 pct y-o-y and 0.8 pct since the beginning of the year.
