BELGRADE - VINCI Airports plans to reach the 15 mln-passenger-a-year mark at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport before 2025 even though the deadline to accomplish this is when its concession for the airport expires in 25 years, Nicolas Notebaert, CEO of VINCI Concessions and president of VINCI Airports, told Tanjug in an interview.

"We can go quicker towards this objective and we will do so. The potential is good; we think we can reach the 15 mln before the end of the concession. I don't have a precise date, but the objective of the team here at the Nikola Tesla Airport would be to do our best to grow more," he said.

It would be pretentious to give you a date today, but the objective will be reached, he said.

VINCI will do its best to increase traffic at the airport as much as possible, he said, announcing that the first works as part of planned investments in development of the airport infrastructure would start soon.
