NBS buys 15 mln euros, Tuesday's dinar-to.euro rate RSD 118.0115

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) purchased 15 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market and Tuesday's dinar-to-euro rate will remain approximately the same as today - 118.0115 dinars.

BELGRADE - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) purchased 15 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market and Tuesday's dinar-to-euro rate will remain approximately the same as today - 118.0115 dinars.
The dinar will strengthen against the euro by 0.2 pct m-o-m, 0.4 pct y-o-y and by 0.2 pct compared to the beginning of the year.
The indicative exchange rate against the dollar grew 0.2 pct to 104.2136 dinars Monday.
The dinar weakened against the dollar by 0.1 pct m-o-m, declining by 8.1 pct y-o-y and by 0.8 pct since the beginning of the year.
The NBS has bought 110 mln euros and sold 130 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year to curb excessive daily exchange rate fluctuations.
The dinar hit a new 2019 high against the euro on March 21 as one euro was exchanged for 117.9290 dinars.
The national currency was at its lowest against the euro this year on January 29, when one euro was worth 118.4940 dinars.
