BELGRADE - Predictability of the business environment and the ability of all businesses, as taxpayers, to be involved in dialogue and participate actively in improving the legislative framework are the most important things for businesses, Serbian Association of Managers (SAM) Executive Board President Stanka Pejanovic said Friday.
At a meeting of Board members and a group of Tax Administration officials headed by Director Dragana Markovic, Pejanovic said adapting to changes in the environment in a timely manner was a common objective because there was no long-term sustainability in any sense without a strong and stable economy, the SAM said in a statement.
Pejanovic said at least two proposals for improving the business environment were expected to come as a result of the meeting.
"We are particularly glad about the modernisation of the Tax Administration, the work on strengthening the educational and preventive part and the awareness of the significance of improving relations with clients," she said.
