BELEX stock trading rebounds, indices drop

Stock trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) rebounded slightly on Tuesday but both indices closed in red territory.

BELGRADE - Stock trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) rebounded slightly on Tuesday but both indices closed in red territory.

The total volume of trading was 631.2 mln dinars (5.3 mln euros).

The BELEX15 index dropped 0.9 pct to 741.63 points while BELEXline slid by 0.5 pct to 1,590.21 points.

The Nikola Tesla Airport saw the highest volume - 3.9 mln dinars - but dropped by 3.7 pct to 806 dinars.

Komercijalna banka common stocks declined by 2 pct to 2,793 dinars, registering a 3.4 mln dinar volume, while the bank's preferred stocks remained steady at 1,200 dinars and recorded a 0.1 mln dinar volume.

Galenika Fitofarmacija saw a 3 mln dinar volume of trading at an average price of 3,000 dinars - 0.1 pct higher than during Monday's trading session.

Naftna industrija Srbije was among the gainers with a 0.8 pct rise to 746 dinars and recorded a volume of approx. 2.6 mln dinars.

Messer Tehnogas dropped by 1.4 pct to 11,534 dinars and posted a 0.2 mln dinar volume of trading.
