Brnabic, CCCC representatives discuss current projects

Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Monday met with representatives of the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) to discuss projects being pursued by the Serbian government with the Chinese company, which is successfully operating in 157 countries.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Monday met with representatives of the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) to discuss projects being pursued by the Serbian government with the Chinese company, which is successfully operating in 157 countries.

Brnabic said she was very satisfied with the start of the construction of a Preljina-Pozega motorway and expressed the expectation a Corridor 11 section from Surcin to Obrenovac would be opened by the end of the year.

We will focus on the works on a Novi Sad-Ruma high-speed route on the Fruska Gora Corridor starting in Q4 2019, she also said.

Besides good and efficient cooperation with Serbian institutions, the CCCC representatives highlighted good cooperation with Serbian companies as one of the reasons behind the good operations in Serbia.

The two parties confirmed activities to build a Sino-Serbian industrial park in Belgrade were moving forward at a satisfactory pace, with activities to prepare a project to construct a motorway from Pozega, central Serbia, to Boljare at the Montenegrin border also underway among other projects, an official statement said.
