BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday met with a delegation of China's General Administration of Customs.

The unlimited potential of China as one of the world's largest markets and Serbia's interest in exporting agricultural products to that market were highlighted at the meeting.

According to a statement from the presidential press office, the two parties said Monday's meeting and three agreements signed by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the General Administration of Customs of China were a major strategic step for Serbia in agriculture, with the Chinese market set to become open to Serbian pork and milk and dairy products.

Vucic and the representatives of the delegation also discussed continued cooperation and harmonisation of procedures for fruit and maize exports, the statement said.

Vucic stressed the significance of strengthening the friendship and the overall strategic partnership between the two countries in all areas.
