BELA PALANKA - Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic on Wednesday met with contractors and other participants in a project to build an eastern leg of Corridor 10 to discuss the completion of the infrastructure project.

According to a statement from Mihajlovic's office, the meeting in Bela Palanka, southeastern Serbia, was attended by representatives of investor Corridors of Serbia, contractors including the Greek company Aktor, as well as by subcontractors, designers, supervisors and other participants.

The pace of the remaining works on the eastern leg of the Corridor was discussed at the meeting.

"After the completion of the southern leg to North Macedonia, our goal is to have the full eastern leg to the Bulgarian border completed as soon as possible. We know how many problems there have been in the past but we are at the very end of the project now and we must together do everything for the full E-80 motorway to open to traffic," Mihajlovic said after touring the construction works on the Bancarevo-Crvena Reka section.
