BELEX indices decline as trading plummets

After briefly recovering on Thursday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices closed in red territory once again as stock trading plummeted on the last day of the trading week.

BELGRADE - After briefly recovering on Thursday, Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices closed in red territory once again as stock trading plummeted on the last day of the trading week.

The overall volume was just shy of 2.5 mln dinars (21 thousand euros).

The BELEX15 index fell 0.7 pct d-o-d to 749.44 points, also declining 0.7 pct w-o-w, while BELEXline slid by slightly over 0.5 pct d-o-d to 1,569.84 points, dropping 0.4 pct w-o-w.

Komercijalna banka preferred stocks saw the highest volume - just over 0.7 mln dinars - rising 0.1 pct to 1,300 dinars, while the bank's common stocks were the top loser of the day, falling 3.6 pct to 3,130 dinars, with a scant volume.

Naftna industrija Srbije strengthened by 0.3 pct to 685 dinars and registered a 0.2 mln dinar volume.

Intereuropa Logistical Services recorded a 1 mln dinar volume on the MTP market, rising 2.9 pct to 35,000 dinars per share.
