Dinar steady against euro, Monday rate RSD 117.7414

The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro Monday and the official median exchange rate will be 117.7414 dinars for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar will remain approximately steady against the euro Monday and the official median exchange rate will be 117.7414 dinars for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced in a statement.

The dinar will rise 0.2 pct against the euro m-o-m, 0.3 pct y-o-y and 0.4 pct compared to the beginning of the year.

The indicative exchange rate against the dollar fell 0.2 pct to 104.7801 dinars for one dollar Friday.

The dinar dropped 0.4 pct against the dollar m-o-m, declining 3.4 pct y-o-y and 1.3 pct since the beginning of the year.

The NBS has bought 1.67 bln euros and sold 130 mln euros on the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year to curb excessive daily exchange rate fluctuations.

The dinar reached a new 2019 high against the euro on July 17 as one euro was worth 117.7191 dinars.

It hit a 2019 low on January 29, when one euro was exchanged for 118.4940 dinars.
