BELGRADE - Global head of Fiat brand Olivier Francois has revealed that the company is working on a seven-seat family SUV that is likely to be manufactured in Serbia, Italian web portal Clubalfa.it announced Tuesday.

This crossover model is likely to be manufactured in Serbian factory, along with a revamped Fiat 500L with a new hybrid engine and "Firefly" certified gasoline engines, a statement from the global brand head of Fiat said on the portal.

The plans of the Fiat-Chrysler Automobile (FCA), as announced, are based on the demand that this company be included in the electric race, which is considered the key to reviving the Turin brand of cars, according to the portal.

FCA has a factory in Kragujevac and, as it was announced, plans to strengthen its brand in the European market with a series of new car models.
