PKS: Programme supporting small food producers launched

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) has announced the start of a programme aimed at supporting the business development of nine select small food producers based in southern Serbia.

BELGRADE - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) has announced the start of a programme aimed at supporting the business development of nine select small food producers based in southern Serbia.

The programme, named "Stizemo sa juga" (We're Coming From the South), has been launched by the Coca-Cola System in a partnership with the PKS and the Smart Collective.

The businesses will promote and market their products directly through a new online platform (www.stizemosajuga.rs) and a 10-city tour of Serbia.

The companies taking part in the programme are Jastrebacka prica (Jastrebac), Vinarija Status (Svrljig), Agro Iris- Zadruga (Sabac), Fisek (Varvarin), Organic Tea Serbia (Nis), Chrono (Leskovac), Radanska ruza (Lebane), DOO Polo (Cacak) and Nanin recept s juga (Vranje).

The participants will also receive 4 months of development support and mentorship from Coca-Cola System experts in marketing, sales, production technology and finances, the PKS said in a statement Thursday.
