Kombank common stocks rise on strong demand, indices in green

Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices saw solid gains on the last day of the trading week but stock trading activity slowed down slightly compared to Thursday.

BELGRADE - Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices saw solid gains on the last day of the trading week but stock trading activity slowed down slightly compared to Thursday.

The overall volume of trading was 33.7 mln dinars (around 286.2 thousand euros).

The BELEX15 index closed at 751.13 points, rising 0.1 pct d-o-d and 0.8 pct w-o-w.

BELEXline also grew 0.1 pct to 1,584.42 points, gaining almost 0.9 pct w-o-w.

Komercijalna banka common stocks saw the highest volume of the day - 17.8 mln dinars - rising 1.3 pct to 3,241 dinars, while the bank's preferred stocks were steady at 1,350 dinars and registered a volume just shy of 0.7 mln dinars.

Philip Morris preferred stocks soared 7.9 pct to 4,000 dinars and recorded a volume slightly under 0.2 mln dinars.
