Belgrade Security Forum to be held October 16-18

The 9th Belgrade Security Forum (BSF), titled Striving for Justice in a Divided World, will be held in Belgrade on October 16-18, with international and domestic political and diplomatic figures, as well as researchers and scientists, to assess the possibilities and challenges faced by the world, Europe and the region.

BELGRADE - The 9th Belgrade Security Forum (BSF), titled Striving for Justice in a Divided World, will be held in Belgrade on October 16-18, with international and domestic political and diplomatic figures, as well as researchers and scientists, to assess the possibilities and challenges faced by the world, Europe and the region.

Over the three days of the forum, the participants will discuss normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina and the citizens' views on a potential agreement, as well as the sustainability of the concept of military neutrality, the situation in the EU 15 years after a major enlargement, environmental security in light of climate change and the role of women in building peace in the Balkans.

The participants include Susanne Schutz, a German diplomat in charge of the Balkans, former EU foreign policy and security chief Catherine Ashton, former French Ambassador to Serbia Frederic Mondoloni, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Milan Mojsilovic and his Austrian counterpart Robert Brieger, former Croatian FM Vesna Pusic, Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection Goran Trivan, Czech Deputy FM Martin Povejsil, Nathalie Tocci, former adviser to Federica Mogherini, and others.
