Serbian businessman increases stake in Kras to over 25 pct

Kappa Star Limited, owned by Serbian entrepreneur Nebojsa Saranovic, has increased its shareholding interest in Croatian confectioner Kras to over 25 pct.

ZAGREB - Kappa Star Limited, owned by Serbian entrepreneur Nebojsa Saranovic, has increased its shareholding interest in Croatian confectioner Kras to over 25 pct.

On the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Kras announced on Friday it had received notification from Kappa Star Limited that the Cyprus-based company had on Wednesday taken its stake past the 25 pct threshold, the Croatian news agency Hina reported.

Kappa Star's total 25.0147 pct stake in Kras makes it the second-largest shareholder in the company behind the Pivac Brothers Meat Industry (30.37 pct), with Kras ESOP (18.45 pct) in third.
