On the opening day of Games.con - the region's largest gaming festival - Serbian telecoms operator Telekom Srbija unveiled its Mts cloud gaming platform that will enable users to access a large number of video games without a gaming console or any other expensive additional hardware.

BELGRADE - On the opening day of Games.con - the region's largest gaming festival - Serbian telecoms operator Telekom Srbija unveiled its Mts cloud gaming platform that will enable users to access a large number of video games without a gaming console or any other expensive additional hardware.

Simplicity and ease of use, affordability and an abundance of free content are just a few advantages of the innovative Mts service, slated to become available in the second half of 2020, company representatives said at a presentation.

"Since the video gaming industry will generate a global revenue of 200 bln dollars in 2020, becoming the most profitable segment of the entertainment industry, with these innovations we want to create a unique entertainment ecosystem in southeastern Europe and stimulate the growth of the local video gaming market," said Telekom Srbija Executive Director for IT Support and ICT Services Nikola Matovic.
