BELEX indices in green territory, stock trading drops

Stock trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) continued to stumble Tuesday but both indices closed in green territory.

BELGRADE - Stock trading on the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) continued to stumble Tuesday but both indices closed in green territory.

The overall turnover was a mere 5 mln dinars (43 thousand euros).

The BELEX15 index rebounded 0.1 pct to 777.84 points and BELEXline rose by the same percentage, closing at 1,699.59 points.

The petroleum company Naftna industrija Srbije was steady at 728 dinars, generating the highest turnover - 1.6 mln dinars.

Komercijalna banka common stocks declined 0.9 pct to 3,170 dinars, generating a 1 mln dinar turnover, while the bank's preferred stocks dropped by a further 1.8 pct to 1,100 dinars and saw a scant turnover.

Nikola Tesla Airport was the top gainer of the day as it grew 1.9 pct to 900 dinars, registering a turnover of over 0.9 mln dinars, while Belgrade-based transport company Lasta had a turnover just shy of 0.9 mln at 688 dinars, a price that was 1.3 pct lower compared to the previous trading session.
