DAVOS - Serbia fought for the new flight route between Belgrade and Pristina to be operated by an airline other than Air Serbia and requested KFOR mediation for the flights, says Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"For many reasons, it is not convenient to have Air Serbia fly that route. Air Serbia would have to sign agreements with their (Pristina's) aviation authorities, directorates and airport, so it was much easier to do this through Lufthansa, and we requested KFOR mediation," Vucic told the RTS from Davos.
