BELGRADE - US special presidential envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Richard Grenell on Friday met with leading businesspeople in Belgrade to discuss the significance of resolving a frozen conflict and of further economic growth of countries in the region.

"SPE Grenell met business leaders in Belgrade today to discuss the urgency of ending a frozen conflict that continues to slow the region’s growth and potential for innovation and new investment. There is no time like now for progress," the US embassy in Belgrade announced in a Twitter post.

Earlier in the day, Grenell met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to discuss, among other things, improvement of living standards and better economic and infrastructure ties in the region.
