BELEX indices decline w-o-w

Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices saw a mixed performance on the last trading day of the week and investment activity remained subdued.

BELGRADE - Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) indices saw a mixed performance on the last trading day of the week and investment activity remained subdued.

The overall turnover was around 37.7 mln dinars (320.4 thousand euros).

The BELEX15 index made up for some of Thursday's heavy loss, rising by just under 0.2 pct to 809.50 points, but slid 1 pct w-o-w.

The BELEXline continued to decline, dropping 0.25 pct to 1,755.67 points, and fell 0.7 pct w-o-w.

For a second consecutive day, the petroleum company Naftna industrija Srbije saw the highest turnover - over 15.1 mln dinars - at a steady price of 740 dinars.

The Sevojno aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval rose 0.5 pct to 3,600 dinars, generating an approx. 0.3 mln dinar turnover.

Nikola Tesla Airport jumped 3.8 pct to 1,038 dinars and saw a 0.1 mln dinar turnover.

Gornji Milanovac cookware maker Metalac fell sharply by 4.5 pct to 2,101 dinars while Vranje-based heater and stove manufacturer Alfa plam remained at 26,500 dinars and recorded a scant turnover.

Shares of Tehnopromet, a Belgrade wholesale and retail company that also engages in motor vehicle repairs, were sold in a block transaction for 21.6 mln dinars at 230 dinars apiece.
