Tourist visits up by 30.6 pct y-o-y in 2022

BELGRADE - Tourist visits in Serbia were up by 30.6 pct y-o-y in 2022 and the number of overnight stays was up by 24.7 pct, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

In December 2022, the number of foreign tourists was up by 46.8 pct y-o-y, while overnight stays generated by Serbian tourists were up by 5.3 pct.

Serbia's spas attracted the most visitors and the majority of tourists came from European countries, the RZS also said.
