Serbian October average net monthly wage at 98,538 dinars

BELGRADE - The Serbian average net monthly wage in October was 98,538 dinars, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.

The average gross wage was 136,173 dinars.

Average gross and net wages in January-October were up by 14.4 pct y-o-y in nominal terms and by 9.3 pct y-o-y in real terms.

Year-on-year, the October average gross wage was up by 13.7 pct in nominal terms and by 8.8 pct in real terms, while the average net wage was up by 13.6 pct in nominal terms and by 8.7 pct in real terms.

The median net wage in October was 76,895 dinars, meaning that 50 pct of the employed population received wages up to that amount.
