DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Wednesday and informed her of Serbia's plans for accelerated development, especially in the context of EXPO 2027, as well as of the objective of reaching a 4.2 pct GDP growth rate in 2025.
In an Instagram post, Vucic wrote that the meeting with Renaud-Basso had been "excellent and substantial."
"I informed the esteemed discussion partner in more detail of Serbia's major plans when it comes to accelerated development in all fields, especially in the context of the upcoming EXPO 2027, and reiterated the belief that the EBRD, as the leading institutional investor in our country, will get involved in making this bold vision come true. I noted that Serbia has set for itself an ambitious goal of a 4.2 pct growth rate for this year, too," he added.
