Serbia, China sign MoU in nuclear sciences

BEIJING - Nuclear Facilities of Serbia Director Dalibor Arbutina and China Institute of Atomic Energy Director General Yang Hongyi have signed a MoU on cooperation in nuclear sciences.

The MoU with China's largest nuclear science and technology institution was signed in Beijing.

Under the memorandum, the two countries will cooperate on decommissioning a research hard water reactor, on radioactive waste management, radiation protection and exchange of expertise and experience, Nuclear Facilities of Serbia said in a statement.

The document opens up space for joint projects, staff education and technical support in decommissioning, waste management and radiation protection, the company also said.
