Begovic: Serbian startups visible on Dealroom platform

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic said on Tuesday it was very important that the Digital Serbia initiative had made Serbian startups visible on the international Dealroom platform, with around 250 Serbian startups registered there to date.

"The platform enables our startup ecosystem to communicate with the world, the local level and investors," Begovic said at a presentation of the ecosystem on the platform, urging other startups to register with Dealroom.

She congratulated Digital Serbia on what she said was a great accomplishment for the Serbian startup ecosystem.

Through the Dealroom platform, Serbia has become one of the first countries in the region to join a database of 80 global ecosystems, aiming to ensure the transparency and visibility of the Serbian startup ecosystem locally as well as globally, Digital Serbia said in a statement.
