BELGRADE - At a meeting with Swarovski Subotica Ltd executives, Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic said the Serbian government was constantly open to discussions with investors in the country.
"We are fighting to keep Serbia one of the fastest-growing economies in Europe, in spite of numerous challenges from the global environment as well as internal attempts to destabilise the country politically and economically," Mesarovic wrote in a post on X, noting that every job and every investment was important for the government.
She said she was certain the national economy would continue to demonstrate resilience to all pressures and challenges.
Mesarovic also said carrying out projects from the Leap Into The Future - Serbia EXPO 2027 programme would definitely help investments grow in the coming period.
"We are not changing the policy that has produced the best economic results - including some historic ones - and that has been conducted consistently by our President Aleksandar Vucic, the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Serbian Progressive Party President Milos Vucevic," Mesarovic added.
