Serbian industrial production up by 6.9 pct y-o-y in March

BELGRADE - Serbia's March 2025 industrial production was up by 6.9 pct relative to the same month of last year, the national statistical office has said.

Relative to the 2024 average, it was up by 5.2 pct.

In January-March 2025, industrial production was up by 2.1 y-o-y.

By sectors, manufacturing saw a 10.4 pct growth in March 2025, electricity, gas and steam supplies and air conditioning were down by 6.4 pct, while the mining sector registered a 4.7 pct growth.

According to the March 2025 seasonally adjusted industrial production index, relative to the 2024 average, industry saw a 1.6 pct growth while the manufacturing sector was up by 3.7 pct.
