Mesarovic: Japan important economic partner to Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic met with Mitsubishi Corporation Regional Director for Serbia Hiroshi Tani on Friday to discuss opportunities for further advancement of cooperation and new strategic projects, noting that Japan was an important economic partner to Serbia.

"In Belgrade, I continued the dialogue initiated in Tokyo last year with representatives of Mitsubishi Corporation, one of the largest trade and investment companies in Japan, which has been operating in Serbia for nearly six decades now," Mesarovic wrote in an Instagram post.

A stable and encouraging business environment is a foundation for new investment, job creation and progress of Serbia, she noted.

"We continue to pursue an economic policy in line with the vision of our president, Aleksandar Vucic, building an even stronger and more developed Serbia," she posted.
