BELGRADE - Thanks to a responsible economic policy and the vision of President Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia is seeing stable growth and strengthening its fiscal stability, and continues to be a dependable partner to investors and international institutions, Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic said on Wednesday after a plenary meeting with an International Monetary Fund mission at the National Bank of Serbia (IMF).
"Today we also have an investment-grade credit rating, which is a strong confirmation of the stability of continued economic growth and stability," Mesarovic wrote in an Instagram post.
Mesarovic added that the meeting had addressed current economic trends, the results Serbia was achieving and economic policy priorities for the period to come.
She noted that the Ministry of Economy was continuing to carry out reforms contributing to advancement of the investment climate, support for entrepreneurship and further strengthening of the economy.
"Strong cooperation with the IMF and other international partners is important support on our path of sustainable economic growth. Serbia must not stop!" Mesarovic wrote in the post.
