Serbian industrial production up by 2.3 pct y-o-y in April

BELGRADE - Serbia's April 2025 industrial production was up by 2.3 pct relative to the same month of last year, the national statistical office has said.

Relative to the 2024 average, it was down by 0.5 pct.

In January-April 2025, industrial production was up by 2.1 y-o-y.

By sectors, manufacturing saw 2.9 pct y-o-y growth in April 2025, electricity, gas and steam supplies were steady y-o-y, while the mining sector registered a 0.5 pct decline.

According to the April 2025 seasonally adjusted industrial production index, relative to March 2025, industry saw a 0.2 pct decline while the manufacturing sector was down by 0.8 pct.
