BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-May totalled 31.243 bln euros, which is a 10.9 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Goods exports were worth 13.749 bln euros, rising by 10.2 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled 17.494 bln euros, growing by 11.5 pct y-o-y.
The deficit was at 3.744 bln euros, up by 16.7 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 78.6 pct, down from 79.5 pct in the same period of last year.
The Vojvodina region had the largest share of exports (34 pct) and the Belgrade region had the largest share of imports (44.9 pct).
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements, and EU member states accounted for 58.3 pct of the total.
