Mesarovic welcomes HBIS Group delegation at Belgrade airport

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic welcomed an HBIS Group delegation at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport on Tuesday.

The delegation was headed by the Chinese company's president, Liu Juan.

Thanking Juan for the visit to Serbia, Mesarovic said HBIS Group operations in Serbia, especially in Smederevo, were making progress year by year and that the company's economic policy was bolstering the Serbian economy.

"The fact that the relationship between the two leaders, President Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping, is on such a high level and that they cherish such a strong, steely friendship has greatly contributed to improving the economic situation in our country, as well as to other Chinese investments and strategic partnerships implemented in our country," the minister said at a meeting with Juan.
