Mesarovic, Dutch ambassador discuss new investments from Netherlands

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic spoke with Dutch Ambassador to Belgrade Martijn Elgersma on Tuesday about bilateral economic cooperation, and noted that the Netherlands was an important partner in Serbia's further economic development.

Mesarovic said Serbia would continue to work actively on business ties and on attracting new investments from the Netherlands, the Ministry of Economy said in a statement.

Mesarovic and Elgersma agreed there was great potential for cooperation in development of innovation ecosystems that successfully connect the government, science and the economy, a model successfully implemented in the Netherlands, the statement also said.
