BELGRADE- Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic on Thursday to discuss future steps to be taken by the government towards further economic development and enhancing the business environment.
Macut and Mesarovic agreed the most important objective was to keep the economy stable and to kick-start economic activity in the country to an even higher extent, a government statement said.
Macut said it was especially important to preserve jobs and attract more foreign and domestic investments.
Mesarovic said that Serbia, in line with the policy of President Aleksandar Vucic and the government, continued to create a favourable environment for economic growth and new investments.
She said she expected many more good results, new factories and new jobs, as well as even better living standards for the citizens and development of all the country's regions.
The minister noted the government would continue to provide all the necessary institutional and strategic support for further development, modernisation and stability of the national economy.
