Vucic meets with representatives of China's VTOL aircraft maker XPeng AEROHT

BEIJING - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Wednesday in Beijing with representatives of China's electric VTOL aircraft maker XPeng AEROHT to discuss possibilities for investments and ties between Serbian engineers and the advanced industry.

"Serbia must catch the train of the new technological revolution and that is why, with the XPeng AEROHT company, the leader in development of flying cars and innovative transport systems, we discussed possibilities for introducing their technologies," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

He added that the company's ideas opened up space for projects that would bring a new dimension of mobility, putting Serbia at the forefront of technological development.

Earlier, Vucic met with representatives of several Chinese companies, including iFlytek, CRBC, Guangdong Hongda and Zijin Mining Group.
