Serbia, Japan sign three bilateral documents

TOKYO - At a ceremony also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia and Japan signed three bilateral documents on advancement of cooperation between the two countries, including a joint statement on an agreement in principle on promotion and protection of investments.

The statement, signed in Tokyo by Serbian Minister of Internal and External Trade Jagoda Lazarevic and Japan's Ambassador to Belrgade Akira Imamura, sends a clear signal about the safety and prospects of investing in Serbia to existing and future investors.

Serbia and Japan also signed a memorandum on cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of Science and Technological Development and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Sciences and Technology.

It was signed by Ministers Bela Balint and Toshiko Abe.

The Serbian Office for IT and eGovernment and the company NTT DATA also signed a MoU on cooperation in advanced ICT technologies in Serbia.

It was inked by the Office's Director Mihailo Jovanovic and NTT DATA Technical Director Bojan Mrazovec.
