BELGRADE - In September 2025, Air Serbia carried 480,507 passengers and operated a total of 4,848 flights, the airline said on Friday, adding that its passenger cabin load factor had been at 79 pct last month, a 77.7 pct increase y-o-y.
"Since the start of the year, we have carried over 3.5 million passengers, and the past month has been recorded as the best September in Air Serbia’s history. September proved to be an exceptionally popular month for holidays and travel, which further contributed to the positive results. Although we still see a double-digit decline in charter traffic, our scheduled operations have grown, and the total number of passengers and flights have exceeded last year’s. These results provide a strong incentive to continue expanding our network of destinations and continuously improving our service for our passengers,” said Air Serbia CEO Jirí Marek.
"The most popular Air Serbia destinations in the region were Tivat, Podgorica, and Ljubljana, while in terms of the Western Europe region, passengers showed the greatest interest in Paris, Zurich, and Frankfurt. In the wider Euro-Mediterranean zone, the most sought-after destinations were Athens, Istanbul, Barcelona, and Larnaca, while in long-haul traffic the majority of passengers flew on the route between Belgrade and New York," an Air Serbia statement said.
