"The delegation will be led by Governor Tabakovic, who is also Serbia’s Governor to the IMF. Serbia’s delegation will hold a series of talks with high-level IMF and WB officials. Bilateral meetings are also planned with representatives of central banks, leading financial institutions, foreign investors, and other interested partners to discuss Serbia’s investment opportunities and economic potential, and the ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing the business climate," the NBS said in a statement.

"Delegation members will also participate in a joint meeting of the Swiss Constituency, to which Serbia belongs, as well as in a closed-door meeting organised by the IMF European Department Director for governors and finance ministers, focusing on regional economic outlook for Central and Eastern Europe.

The Annual Meetings agenda is centred on current global economic developments and outlook in a complex economic and political environment, as well as trade tensions and the role of international financial institutions in supporting countries’ economic policies. Key global economic challenges and risks will be outlined, along with recommendations concerning economic and financial policies of member countries and the IMF and WB’s priorities going forward.

In addition to the plenary session of the IMF and WBG Boards of Governors (highest decision-making bodies), the meetings of the International Monetary and Financial Committee and the joint Development Committee (advisory bodies of the IMF-WBG) will also be held," it said.
